Camrose Regional Exhibition

Charity Website

Camrose Regional Exhibition has played an integral role in the City of Camrose and the surrounding rural area since 1908. Formed under the Agricultural Societies Ordinance, the original objective of the Exhibition was to encourage improvements in agriculture, horticulture, and homemaking and thereby improve the quality of life in the agricultural community. To meet this objective the Society established a regional fair. The Camrose Summer Fair was a major social event in the community and provided a showcase for excellence in agriculture products and a forum for the introduction of new agricultural production methods.

From these simple beginnings, the Camrose Regional Exhibition (CRE) has evolved into a dynamic organization that is responsive to our clients’ ever-changing needs. The CRE is the largest major centre on Highway 13, serving Central Alberta to the Saskatchewan border. The CRE is poised to enter the next century as an innovative community leader with a foundation of old-fashioned values and an eagerness to fulfill the original mandate of the organization - agricultural enhancement and community development.
